At Young Drivers, not only do we teach the skills needed to pass a road test, we teach defensive driving skills and effective seeing habits that can be used to spot potential hazards.

At our driving school, we believe that all collisions are predictable and preventable. Collision-free driving starts with good driving habits. We teach students life-saving skills to recognize the risks on the road and how to respond effectively; including how to anticipate and avoid head on-collisions, rear crashes, intersections collisions and more. Our students will learn these skills and experience them hands-on with YD instructors, both in the classroom and behind the wheel during the private in-car driving lessons.

Our Driving School is located on 105 Charing Cross St Brantford. We are on the corner of Charing Cross and Fulton St. in-between KFC and LA Music.

If you travelling to our driving school using city buses, take #4 and get off on the North Park stop near Wood St. Walk south down North Park and turn left onto Charing Cross. Walk two blocks down and you will see our driving school classroom/office which is white with a red stripe.

When headed home after class is over, you can take either the #4 or the #13 evening transit, which is located just across the street on Charing Cross.

Ministry Approved Beginner Education Courses and Road Test Packages

Want to start driving? Our ministry approved courses begin when you register. With our quick-start program, you can sign up for one of our evening, weekend or four-day courses and start the online e-learning program before class begins. Our courses dates are flexible to fit into your busy schedules. If a course date does not work for you, just call our office and we will be happy to find a course that fits your needs (even if it means choosing dates from two separate courses).

At Young Drivers, we have a variety of courses packages starting from our full course to our road test and plus packages. Our driving instructors have experience with drivers of all ages and abilities including senior drivers and students who have never been behind the wheel. Payment plans are available upon request.
