Young Drivers King City Driving School

Young Drivers Provides The Best Training Possible 

Our family-owned driving school franchise was established in 1981. Allen MacDonald is the third generation to provide the Young Drivers driver training program (est. 1968) to York Region residents. Only Young Drivers teaches the four habits and twenty sub-habits of the exclusive Collisionfree!™ Approach to driving. 

Only Young Drivers offers convenient monthly payments at no additional charge (email for details). If you went to another driving school or failed your road test, or if you are just not feeling confident behind the wheel, we can help. We also offer our unique “Flex-Schedule” in class (email for details). We are pleased to offer our King City students pick up at home or school for in-car lessons.

By using the YD Collisionfree!™ Approach and it's 20 sub-habits, each student can learn to deal with situations as they arise. Remember, on a day-to-day basis, the most dangerous thing most of us will do is get into a motor vehicle. You can sign up for one of our evening, weekend or four-day courses and start the online e-learning program before class begins. Our courses dates are flexible to fit into your busy schedules. If a course date does not work for you, just call our office and we will be happy to find a course that fits your needs (even if it means choosing dates from two separate courses). At Young Drivers, we have a variety of courses packages starting from our full course to our road test and plus packages. Our driving instructors have experience with drivers of all ages and abilities including seniors drivers and students who have never been behind the wheel. Payment plans are available upon request.

Young Drivers King City Classroom Location

Students from the King City area come to our Aurora classroom which is conveniently located at 15213 Yonge Street, between Wellington and Mosely Streets on the east side of the road in the former Aurora Post Office and Customs building.  This building is well known for its historic clock tower.

The Young Drivers classroom is located on the main floor, the first unit to the left when entering by the front door. Parking is available at the rear of the building for pick-up and drop-off and students may also enter from the back of the building.

We are pleased to offer pick-up in the King City area for the in-car portion of the Young Drivers program.
